Shrimad Bhagavat Katha (Krishna Speaks) by Rameshbhai Oza

Plans are well underway for one of Leicester’s biggest events to take place this summer.

The organisers of ‘Krishna Speaks – Bhagavat Katha 2016’ are planning for the arrival of a Hindu Saint to bless the City with a recital from the Hindu Holy Scriptures – The Shrimad Bhagvatam.

Thousands of Devotee’s from around the globe are expected to flock into Leicester over eight days to listen to the Saint – his Holiness Shri Rameshbhai Oza (also known as Bhaishri), and participate in a range of activities such as singing and dancing during the recital.

The last time Bhaishri visited Leicester was over fourteen years ago. People from all walks of life, have come together to make this event successful.

The entire cost of the event is being sponsored by local and national devotees and businessmen.

The recital will take place from 26th July 2016 to 2nd August 2016 from 3pm to 7pm daily and will be held at Rushey Mead Recreation Grounds, Melton Road, Leicester, LE4 7GY.

One of the organisers – Priti Raichura said, "We are overwhelmed joy and happiness immense joy that Pujya Bhaishri will be visiting the city of Leicester once again after a long fourteen years wait to bless the City of Leicester with his message on world peace, love and harmony through the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavat Katha.

The programme is being organised by a team of young professional who are all highly experienced in organising such events.
